2025 Oregon Cup English Presentation Contest

?On December 13th, the “2025 Oregon Cup English Presentation Contest,” co-hosted by Toyama Prefecture and the U.S. state of Oregon, was held at the Toyama Kenmin Kaikan. This contest began in 2022 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the friendship agreement between Toyama Prefecture and Oregon, and is held annually around this time.

?University students from both prefectures and states collaborated to create presentations, which were delivered by Japanese students. This year’s theme was “Toward a Multicultural Society: Perspectives of Young People in Japan and Oregon.” A total of 11 teams from within Toyama Prefecture participated. The following two teams from our university took part. Both teams addressed issues our university considers important to tackle, and their content provided valuable insights for our future initiatives.
