Delegation from Ubon Ratchathani University Pays Courtesy Visit to the University of Toyama
On April 9, 2026, a delegation from Ubon Ratchathani University paid a courtesy visit to President Saito, the University of Toyama.
Ubon Ratchathani University is a key institution of higher education in northeastern Thailand, playing a central role in education and research in the region. Since the conclusion of an academic exchange agreement in 2017 between the Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama, and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Ubon Ratchathani University, the two institutions have fostered a cooperative relationship primarily in the field of traditional medicine. To date, active exchanges of students and researchers have taken place, and collaboration has steadily deepened through continuous research and academic exchanges facilitated by liaison professor.
During this visit, following greetings from President Saito and the delegation from Ubon Ratchathani University, discussions were held on future developments in academic exchange as well as research in the field of traditional medicine, including natural medicine. After the meeting, commemorative gifts were exchanged and a group photograph was taken, concluding the visit in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our collaboration is expected to become more dynamic going forward.
