Delegation from Shandong University, China, Chiang Mai University, Thailand and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam Visit University of Toyama

On November 11, 2018, young researchers from two schools and one faculty from three universities paid a courtesy visit to President Endo: School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shandong University (SU), China, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thailand and School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Vietnam.
This visit is supported by Sakura Science Plan, Japan Science and Technology Agency, for which Prof. Nishimura, Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Research applied.
University of Toyama (UT) concluded a university-level agreement respectively with SU, CMU and HUST and academic exchanges have been carried out mainly with Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Research.
After a welcome address by President Endo, the representatives of the three universities expressed their appreciation for inviting them. During their stay, they will join lectures and technical practices and visit some companies in Toyama.
