Delegation of the Government Officials from Guizhou Province, China Visits University of Toyama

On August 9, 2018, a delegation of the government officials from Guizhou Province, China, headed by Party Member and Deputy Director Zhang Meijun, Development and Reform Commission of Guizhou Province paid a visit to Institute of Natural Medicine(INM), University of Toyama.
Guizhou especially focuses on the field of medicine in China. During their stay in Toyama Prefecture, the delegation will visit pharmaceutical companies and facilities in order to further develop their field and to explore other possibilities for collaboration.
After giving a welcome address by Prof. Matsumoto, Director of INM, Deputy Director Zhang Meijun expressed his appreciation for this visit and gave an introduction about Guizhou.
Then Director Matsumoto made a presentation about outline of the INM and Prof. Komatsu, INM explained valuable exhibits at the Museum of Materia Medica, INM. The delegation showed great interests in them.
