Spring Study-Excursion to Tateyama Murodo

Organization for International Education and Exchange at the University of Toyama organizes study excursions every year in Spring and Fall to provide opportunities for international students to interact with each other and with Japanese students. On June 3, we conducted a Spring Study-Excursion to Tateyama Murodo. A total of 88 participants, including 73 international students and 15 Japanese students, took part in the excursion and explored the snowy YukinoOtani valley and the surrounding area of MikurigaIke pond. Despite concerns about the weather due to the passage of a typhoon, we were blessed with good weather and were able to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. While interacting in various languages, participants made new friends and had a fun day experiencing Toyama’s unique nature.
