Delegation from Anhui University of Technology, China, visits University of Toyama
On Augst 7, 2024, a delegation from Anhui University of technology (AHUT), China, paid a courtesy visit to President Shigeru Saito of University of Toyama (UT). AHUT, located in central China, is a university with a strong reputation in coal and metal materials research.
Professor Tsubaki, School of Engineering, UT and AHUT have been discussing researcher and student exchange, academic exchange agreements, and international joint research, and this visit was made to enhance international cooperation between two universities.
The meeting began with the welcome speech from President Saito, followed by the opening remark from Mr. Lu Lin, Secretary of the Party, AHUT. Then, participants had a meaningful discussion on the promotion of international exchange.
After the visit, the delegation toured Prof. Tsubaki’s research laboratory and had meetings with Prof. Tsubaki’s team.
By this visit, further cooperation between the two universities is expected in the future.
